Exploring new ways to achieve a better ROI on their hotel real estate investment, the Sunway Group in Sitges has brought in outside help. They have incorporated the revenue management experts of Xotels to achieve a better REVPAR and GOPPAR on their hotel asset portfolio.
'We are very excited with the addition of the Sunway Group to our portfolio' says Patrick Landman, CEO an co-founder of Xotels. 'They are an group in the Sitges hotel market, holding a large share of the destinations inventory. We have started with optimizing the strategies for the aparthotel Amapola of the group to build a template for the entire group.'
Remko West, COO and co-founder of Xotels adds, 'March results are looking promising. And we are expecting at least 15% to 20% year over year growth for this first property. Based on the results and the operational procedures we are implementing we will look at expanding our business partnership with the Sunway Group. They have a very competitive resort portfolio both in Sitges and Formentera.'
Patrick finishes, 'We share a same vision and philosophy with the Sunway group when it comes to developping their hotel assets in terms of pricing a distribution. We are looking forward to bring them record revenues in 2012. Actually in the first two months we are already recording over 15% REVPAR growth.
