GEKKO Selected To Present GEKKO Links At The PhoCusWright Conference

GEKKO, the personal shopping assistant for hotels, has been selected to demonstrate GEKKO.com and GEKKO Links at the Travel Innovation Summit taking place at the PhoCusWright Conference (November 16-18, 2010 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA). GEKKO, through its products and technologies is streamlining the lengthy process of finding and booking the right hotel at the best price.
GEKKO’s proprietary recommendation algorithm helps the user significantly reduce the research time by delivering a consistently relevant and personalized selection of hotels from more than 200,000 hotels worldwide available in its portfolio. GEKKO compares prices from 41 hotel providers and integrates reviews from Trip Advisor, offering all the information users need to make a decision in one place.
GEKKO also recently launched GEKKO Links, the first service that automatically creates relevant and contextual affiliate links from hotels mentions on a site. When users hover over the link in an article, GEKKO Links creates a popup box in which the users can find more information about a hotel, check room availability, compare prices, save this information for later or book directly, without ever having to leave the site they visit.
GEKKO’s patent pending technology, which is first applied to the hotel industry, is capable of recognizing exact and ‘non exact’ (i.e. fuzzy) references to products in text. Publishers, from large media sites to bloggers, just need to add a few lines of HTML on their site, to start generating revenues from their travel content.
