Everbread to Showcase Air Search Engine Haystack at the Travel Innovation Summit

Everbread Ltd, creator of the Haystack airfare shopping and pricing engine, has been selected to demonstrate at The Travel Innovation Summit, taking place at The PhoCusWright Conference (November 16-18, 2010 in Phoenix, Ariz., USA). Google’s recent disruptive acquisition of ITA Software generated a flood of interest in Everbread when the search giant cited it among ITA Software’s competitors. With the UK-based startup out of stealth mode, Travel Innovation Summit attendees will be among the first to preview the Haystack engine – and judge for themselves its potential to capture a share of the air search market.
Consumers are already flying on tickets that were discovered through Haystack at the lowest possible fare and the most convenient itinerary. In addition to online travel agencies in Europe, several meta-search engines are using Haystack to provide comparison shopping, with one of the market leaders in this space – Cheapflights.com being part of Everbread’s portfolio.
Everbread’s proprietary fares and pricing engine Haystack is a B2B product that powers meta-search engines, OTAs, and airline websites with search and shopping recommendations. Haystack combines all sources of airline fares for both traditional and low-cost carriers, either through direct connects or through private and public industry data (ATPCO, IATA, OAG, SITA, private fares and paper DB).
