Born out of the frustration of searching for a travel deal (sales, special promotions, discounts, etc.), the Voyij founders saw an opportunity to bring innovation to this underserved, yet significant category of travel. Unlike virtually every other travel site, Voyij does not require your destination or dates of travel. Rather, Voyji prefers customers provide only their home airports and let Voyij find everything on sale, relevant to them. Voyij was built for the flexible traveler and truly brings a new way of finding travel deals and sales to the consumer. With Voyij innovation, breadth and depth of deals, and new search capabilities, customers save both time and money.

Update – We’ve seen significant growth in the use of Twitter as a “deals” channel for travel suppliers over the last few months. Suppliers (airlines, hotels, cars, vacation packages, etc.) are increasingly using Twitter as a new distribution point for these kinds of offers. The consumer faces increasing challenges trying to keep up with the real-time Web: knowing which users to follow to get the best deals, coping with the sheer volume of offers published and filtering the “noise”.

Voyij has done the work for the consumer. With our new Twitter Travel Streams™ product (http://www.voyij.com/twitter-travel-streams/deals), we’ve qualified over 1000 of the best travel companies that are tweeting offers, then organized and made them searchable within our system. Not only that, but Voyij adds value to the Tweet by extracting meta-data and adding travel context to an otherwise context-free message. Users can view Twitter offers by category (flights, hotels, cars, etc), or search directly for a destination to see just the relevant tweets. And we’ve even added Twitter Alerts™ where Voyij will email you the relevant Search Results and Tweets to you each day based on your criteria.

Users don’t need a twitter account, don’t need to follow hundreds of suppliers, or be connected to Twitter 24/7 to take advantage of this new channel. Voyij slows down the real-time Web so that the best bargains can actually be found. Voyij has brought order to Twitter travel!
